Soldiers' Angels was began in 2003 by Patti Patton-Bader in response to a letter she received from her deployed son, Brandon. In a letter home, Brandon wrote how several of his friends and comrades were not receiving any mail from home and how that would effect them when the others would receive letters and care packages. This touched Patti's heart and she got together with a few other army moms in her garage to create extra care packages for the young soldiers who had noone to support them. Since then, Soldiers' Angels has blossomed to a worldwide network of over 200,000 members in all 50 states and several countries.
