My Decision to Live is the inspirational story of Nader Elguindi becoming the first U.S. Naval submarine officer to earn his qualifications with a prosthetic after surviving a horrific motorcycle accident that severed both legs and caused him to permanently lose his right foot.

He is donating all proceeds from the book to support the men and women recovering at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital, where he volunteers as a peer-visitor.
