Month of the Military Child

April: Month of the Military Child

Every year April is set aside as a time to honor our Military Children and the sacrifices they and their families make on a daily basis. The families of our Service Members play such an important role in the protection of our Country, especially the children. The bravery of our Soldiers often pull them away from their loved ones, and their famlies support them unwavering, and allow them to protect our freedom. Because of this, we want our brave little ones to know that we love, appreciate, and support them. That they too will "Never walk alone".

How can you help?

Give.

Soldiers' Angels holds the children of our Military members very close to their hearts, and this month we are raising money for our Soldiers and their families. You can help! You can donate and show your support by wearing our Military Child Tshirt! Purple is the color of the Military Child and April 13th is the day to wear it loud and wear it proud.

We're also offering a special "care package" just for our kids waiting at home for their deployed parent. We send our Soldiers care packages to help ease the pain of being away from home. So why not send our brave little soldiers a pack to try and ease the pain of being away from Mommy or Daddy? Each pack includes letter writing supplies, assorted toys, games and Angel supplies so they know that we will stand beside their families while they stand beside us.

Get Involved.

Operation Top Knot: This program offers support to Expecting Military Parents and newborn babies. Operation Top Knot is dedicated to trying to assist these families through a rough transition that can only be magnified by deployment. Our lovely volunteers donate clothes, toys, diapers, handmade quilts and blankets as well as throw baby showers for our Expectant Mothers. We want them to know we commend them for their strength, and their bravery and we honor their sacrifice as much as we do their parents'. Find out more here.

We have some great opportunities to support our Military Kids this month! So come check us out, and join us as we SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES!
