Soldiers Angels:
I just wanted to personally Thank-you for the unexpected and delightful surprise we recieved today. Back-packs filled with warm pants and toiletries. I almost cried, I was so grateful for these items. The tags were even marked with L and XL. Here in Fargo, the wind chills have been 40 below zero. We have over 360 homeless veterans in our catchment area, and these extreme temperatures are very dangerous. The shelters have been filled beyond capacity. Each day, they must leave many of the shelters and take their belongings with them. We needed those back-packs and warm pants so much, and I was racking my brain to think of how to get some.
You will recieve a much deserved formal thank-you from our facility Director. But I just wanted you to know, informally, how much these items help and how much your gift means to our most vulnerable veterans! I found a simple flyer with your organization name at the bottom of the box. A happiest of New Years to you and everyone who helped make this happen.
You are, indeed, Angels...
Thank-you, again!

I have been working with Soldiers Angels for about the last two years. I have never seen such dedicated people working to support our returning Soldiers. Soldiers Angels has been amazing and the Vet Paks are just as amazing. I work with returning OEF/OIF Veterans here at the Dallas VA as part of the seamless transition team. I try to see every new OEF/OIF veteran that comes thru our facility. If I have Vet Paks, the Veteran is issued one. The look on their face when issued a Vet Pak and opened is priceless. They get a sense of relief, acceptance, and comfort. They feel like someone out there really cares. Vet Paks, from my point of view, is one of the greatest things I have ever seen, and are greatly appreciated.
Every Angel I have worked with is so dedicated to being the best. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.

These have been the most requested items from our VA Hospitals. They are really wonderful for our Veterans who are in the hospital.
